The Subject Plant for sale is a combined cycle cogeneration design which is rated at 10 MW and has a heat rate of approximately 10,950 Btu/kWh. The current delivery of electric power is at the 60 cycle 12.47kV side of the Project’s main transformers, which can be modified as needed. Figure 1 shows the simplified operating diagram of the power plant.
This plant is currentl natural gas only and could be modified to fired liquid fuel. This would require modification to the fuel nozzles, combustion system modifications and fuel delivery systems.
- The Gas Turbine is a Solar Mars 100S combustion turbine
- The Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), which converts the exhaust heat from the combustion turbine into steam, is manufactured by Deltak
- The steam turbine is a Murray-Tuthill steam turbine
- Steam was sold to an adjacent food processing plant until the food processing plant shut in 2008
- The plant consists of a basic cogeneration cycle consisting of the above mentioned gas turbine, HRSG, Steam Turbine along with balance of plant needed to to fully function as a combined cycle cogeneration plant delivering 10 MW of electricity and approximately 20,000 lbs/hr of 150 psig.

This plant was designed to deliver 10MW of electricity at 60 hertz and 12.47kv. The steam generated in the HRSG was used in a food processing plant where they required approximately 20,000 lb/hour of steam at a pressure of 150 psig. There would be some flexibility to providesome additional steam as the HRSG is capable of generating 40,000 lb/hour or more. The ideal match would be an industrial facility that needs 10 MW and 20,000-25,000 lb/hour at 150 psig.
